Can we get a car loan for a used car?
Me and my boyfriend are planning on getting a car in a couple of months and i was just curios as to how they decide on whether to grant you credit? My credit score is 600 and my boyfriends is 720, we have a down payment of 2,000 and are looking at some cars ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 is there a good chance we would get approved?

He can get a loan since his credit is good. Yours is horrible
The car dealer or his bank can arrange a loan.

I think there is a good chance… Talk to the car dealer and put the 2000 down but I would suggest going through the bank to get your used car loan and not the dealership because the interest is usually higher through the dealership. But with those credit scores you guys should be fine because that’s how they decide is by credit score and looking at your history of on time payments late payments etc
