Should I Keep my new AMEX Blue?
Applied for the 0%-15mo Intro APR but recieved the card and the terms they offered me were only 0% for 6mo Intro APR and whopping 17.5% after. But the credit line is 10,000. That would be good for overall utilization and help my FICOs but my scores arent too bad 680-730 range as it is. I have 3 other cards at far lower rates. And they both gave 0% Intro APR for 12mo. Did AMEX just give me a bad deal that I should not accept and try for another high limit card with better terms? My other cards total 12000 in limits with balances totalling 3000.

What are our chances at getting a home loan?
We live in Arizona. We must qualify together. Both of us are college students, and I got a part time job in my field of study over 1 year ago. My boyfriend has held his job for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, both of us being in school full time and me being a part time stay-at-home mom, our income is only 25k/year for now. We have two years of perfect rental history at 900/month. His credit score is 760, but mine is 580. We have k available to put down. We have no car payments, our highest credit card payment is /month, so together, all four of our cards never get past a month. We generally have no debt. Our credit limits range from 00-00.
We are in a relatively good position to buy and our mortgage payments would surely be less than the 0 we waste in rent every month. The homes we would be looking at are 90k-100k.
Our major issue is our income and my credit score. Does this really hurt our chances that much?
Plz help: I'm thinking of calling my cc companies to inquire about possible payment restructuring. Advice?
Thanks for reading my post.
I have about ,000 of credit card debt on four different cards with APRs ranging from about 9 to 14%. I am not working now but have a job overseas waiting for me starting in late March.
I’ve described my current situation previously at this forum, and several have recommended that I call my credit card companies directly and inquire about restructuring my monthly payments. The truth is, I have been always made my payment on time and should be able to continue to do so but, of course, it would be nice to have lower monthly payments if the overall amount is not increased (in other words, if I could pay the amount owed over a longer period of time.)
Is this even possible with these companies? If so I assume it would hurt my credit. To what degree do you think such restructuring would hurt my credit? How likely is it that they would do this (according to my credit report I have a very good credit score)?
If you think I might have success acquiring some assistance, how should I ask this question? In other words, what should be my posture and strategy? Should I just tell them the facts, the absolute truth, and ask for the best option they could give me?
Thanks for your help.

Question about credit card debt…?
I have about 12K in cc debt between 6 cards. For credit score reasons, is it better to consolidate onto 2 cards (which will max out both) or to keep my balances spread amongst the various cards (ranging from 1,500 – 3,500) as they are now?
Is there anything in it for credit card companies to reduce my interest rate?
I’m in the process of paying down my debt and it would be nice to do it at a more reasonable interest rate. Basically all of my cards are in the 20% range and i’ve been told you can negotiate a better rate. My score is in the mid-600′s and all accounts are in good standing. Does anybody have any history of successful negotiation in a similar situation, and if so what’s in it for the company to do so?
credit cards?
Whats are some of the easy cards to get? disregarding credit score info, but just name some that are good and easy and does not require scores in the 7-800 range.. you know some that with a score of 720 would be a breeze cause all you would need is like a 600
On a $600 credit card, what is the max I should spend?
Yes, the limit is 0, so I know I can go up to that amount each billing cycle. However, I’ve been told that a low debt to balance ratio looks good and that you should never go over 1/3 of the cards limit because it looks like you’re spending just to spend. On the other hand, I’ve heard that you shouldnt spend too little either. The lady at my credit union says that my spending history looks good and I’m on the right track and my credit score is increasing. What exactly increases my credit score and how can I make it go up faster? How do I know what spending range to stay in on my card?
Bad Credit, Lots of Collateral, Good Income, WE Need $100,000 to make our lives a LOT easier?
Posted in: Credit Score Good Range Tags: 5 months, amount of money, cards, cars, collateral, credit scores, many things, motorhome, resort casino, yahoo
My husband recently struggled on some finances and found himself 4-5 months behind on many things. Now we have 3 reposession notices for his quad, motorhome and trailor. The thing is this dropped our credit scores down to the 490-550 range which is AWFUL when 6 months ago it was up in the 650-700 range. The thing is I own a home and a business and I am a high end manager at the resort casino.
I have been deperately seeking a loan for 0,000, that specific amount of money would pay off everything on my husbands and my credit. The cars, cards, motorhome etc. and bring us down to 1 monthly payment with TONS of collateral!! This would save our lives at the moment! We have 3 daughters and are struggling tremendously to catch up but we can’t find anyone to help us!! corrinam2003@yahoo.com
