Will I get approved for a car loan w/ a low APR?
Posted in: Credit Score Good Range Tags: credit card debt, credit history, credit score, equifax, payment history
I checked with Equifax and I have a credit score of 689, with "not good" payment history, but "good" amount of new credit, amount of debt and length of credit history. I’m making ,000.00 a year before taxes and have been employed with the same company for over 2 years. I also have ,000 in credit card debt. The car I am looking to buy is ,500.00. Would anyone know what APR range I could fall in with this type of history?

I want to find out how much my lease payoff would be for my altima?
I want to payoff my 2010 Nissan Altima which has 32 more months on it. I called NMAC and they The NMAC automated service told me I owe 19,500. I want to make the lease payoff hopefully in the range of the price of 230 I have times 32 months (remaining time I have) or even less hopefully and get a ne wluxury car. Would you guys know a Nissan phone number where I can actually talk to a customer representative (not a computer) or have any better options without touching my credit score. Any help would be appreciated especially someone who works at Nissan or a leasing company.
Will refinancing hurt my credit score?
I am considering refinancing my car. I owe about 00 more than it’s worth and I have had it for about a year and a half. I dont want to sell it and I plan on keeping it for a while. I am trying to build my credit as it is in the average range. My credit has improved only slightly since I purchased the car. Will refinacing hurt my credit score and is it a good option now?
will they allow me to get a loan or not?

I was wondering if the bank would let me take out a loan to pay off my student loan which would be like 000 when i get done with school, car note some where in between 00 to 000 and a ,000 home loan. The total would be ,000 to ,000 I had never miss a payment on the stuff i have right now and my credit score is i believe in the fair or good range one of the two. I don’t really make lot of money right now but school loans is my only bill right now
Would we have trouble getting approved for a rental?

Situation:
— We want to rent a larger house and join in with our in-laws who will help pay the rent.
Our income:
— I have an extremely stable job (5+ years) of which my income is currently 00 a month after taxes.
— My husband will have a fairly new job (a few months) making around 00 a month after taxes. Prior job in same field he made 00 a month after taxes.
— We have a mortgage that is 35 + an HOA of 3. We can rent this out for around 50 a month. So about a 0 rental income per month.
— We always pay our mortgage on time and have a good rental history prior to this mortgage of 0/month.
Total Income: 50 a month
My in-laws income:
— My FIL has a stable job making around 00 a month after taxes
— My MIL has a stable job making around 00 a month after taxes
— They have a good rental history for 3 years paying 50 a month and can get a reference for that. Prior to that they were in a guest house type situation for about 10 years paying 0 a month but that landlord sold the property and left the state.
Total income: 00 a month
Total combined income: 50
Rent we want to pay: 00
We have no debt but my credit score is currently recovering and my husband’s is still building because he is a new immigrant. I believe mine is around the 620 range and my husband’s usually comes back as no credit established yet even though he does have 1 card. My in-laws filed for bankruptcy but I believe it was more than 7 years ago. I am not sure how their credit is but probably around a 620 as well and they don’t have much debt maybe ,000 not sure. They were approved for another rental through an agency a few months ago but the stupid homeowner backed out at the last minute after stringing them along for about a month, and we see the house every day and it’s been sitting empty since Christmas.
I think it helps that we are home-owners and going to be renting out our house ourselves & thus know about the things that need to be maintained in a home such as air conditioner filters, etc. & know how to take care of something and how important it is. For example picking up spills right away so it doesn’t damage the flooring, being careful not to stain the carpet by taking shoes off, etc. Because I know how it feels to know that someone else is going to be living in MY house. lol.
PS – When you fill out the application do you put before-tax income or after-tax income?
Thanks!! ![]()
Are we financially ready to buy a house ?
My husband and I are both unemployed and we want to move into another town with better job opportunities. We really need to purchase a house because we have two dogs and want to start a family. I am currently in a university and I graduate in March 2010 with an associates degree. We both are military veterans and we both receive military benefits from the VA. He receives about 00 a month and I receive about 00 a month. My credit score is a few points away from excellent. We have lived in our apartment for about two years and I also collect unemployment for the past year and receive extended benefits. We both also are entitled to the VA home loan. He pays for our rent which is 5 a month including the two dogs and electricity which runs 0-200 a month. I pay my car payment 5, car insurance 0, gas and groceries .00. Will we be successful in purchasing a home in the next six months ? The houses we are looking at are in the ,000 range and are 3-4 bedrooms. (we live in NC)
I need information on building a house.. loans and tips.?
Posted in: Credit Score Good Range Tags: alot, building a house, credit score, home loan, money, parents, small houses
Me and my husband are currently in the market for a house. We found 2-3 we loved, the first we couldn’t even make an offer because it needed to much work we couldn’t afford, the second we liked but the location and price were iffy so we didn’t make an offer and the third we made an offer and it looks like it is about to fall through because it needs work done to it before the bank will approve it and I doubt the current owner will do what needs to be done.
We have been talking and wanted to get some information on "building" a home. My parents own alot of lots and would be willing to give us one as a gift to build a house on.
I have a few questions though.. is it better to build your own house or look for months for the perfect house? We can only afford a house around 35,000 to 45,000 and all we are finding in that price range are old homes that have more wrong that right or small houses we hate.
I know with building a house we couldn’t be to picky, but I know you can pick out some of the things you want.. would it be possible to build a reasonable house in our price range?
Also about money, we would need to borrow money to be able to build the house.. how does that work? Is it a home loan like we were already preapproved for or is it another loan? Is it harder to get than the home loan? (Like credit score wise.. we have a "fair" score of about 630 I believe, but we did get preapproved for 40,000 or a little higher home loan)
An information or links to websites to answer my questions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
We filed bankruptcy, chapter 7, final in February. We have gotten 2 vehilce loans since then?
which we needed. We also rent an apartment. Our credit score is still stanet at 597. We have been on time with the payments and our other bills (learned our lessons). How come we are staying where we are at. I debt ratio is better than before. Is it true that you should get a low credit card (amount wise) to make it go up.
My son is buying a computer through some finance company (not a buy here, pay here) and they claim they can make his score go up a lot in a short time. I am confused here.
I really dont want another credit card for awhile but would like to get our score out of the poor (med-high risk) range.
I am on disability but husband has steady job. A lot of ours were do to credit card and hospital bills. I did not have an income for 2 years suddenly
We dont plan to add any more credit. The reason we needed the vehicles was because during the course of filing bankruptcy, I wrecked our vehicle which the insurance paid off. Then we needed a second car due to my husband works odd hours and I needed a vehicle to get buisness done and doctor appointments and such. We budgeted them and are handeling our bills just fine. We are even saving just a little for emergencies where we can.

Thank you
Auto-financing / Car Loan for a low income person?
Posted in: Credit Score Good Range Tags: car loan, credit card bill, credit score, downpayment, living in canada, mid twenties, salary, second hand car, student loan
Hi,
I’m a person aged around mid-twenties, living in Canada. I want to purchase a used or second hand car ranged around at
$ 7000- $ 10,000, but my salary is only 8 per hour. Is it possible for me to get car loan from bank.
I don’t have any expenses like rent as I live at my family home neither do I have any student loan to be paid.
How much downpayment would I have to make and will there be other costs while buying a car.
Also, I wanna know how to check a credit score. I usually pay my credit card bill on time..does it mean I have a good credit score?
Please help.
Thanks
